The Artist, The Descendants, Hugo, Midnight in París, Globos de Oro Repartidos

Como avanzo en el titular la 69a edición de los Globos de Oro, premios concedidos por la prensa extrangera de Hollywood  han estado muy repartidos, toda película ha recibido su reconocimiento. Tenían la suerte de que no debían mojarse entre las dos grandes favoritas a los Oscars The Descendants y The Artist, ya que competían en dos categorías diferentes, una en comedia o musical y la otra en drama. Además de dar el premio gordo a estas dos películas los Globos de Oro también han premiado el mediocre guión de Woody Allen y la dirección de Martin Scorsese por Hugo (que primero no me parecía un proyecto demasiado interesante y a medida que pasa el tiempo tengo más ganas de verla). En mejor interpretación también se lo han llevado tanto Clooney por The Descendants como Dujardin por The Artist. 
Han sido unos premios muy previsibles en los apartados cinematográfico... de esta manera no han faltado los galardones a Meryl Streep, Michelle Williams, Octavia Spencer y Christopher Plummer. 

Por otro lado, en el plano televisivo si han habido más sorpresas. La mejor serie dramática ha sido Homeland superando Boardwalk Empire y Games of Thrones y el mejor actor ha sido para Kesley Grammer superando a Buscemi o a Cranston. Winset ha conseguido otro globo de oro por Mildred Pierce, Lange otro por American Horror Story, Peter Dinklage otro por Games of Thrones, Claire Danes otro por Homeland y Laura Dern ha hecho lo propio por Enlightened. Unos premios también repartidos. Por último también se ha premiado Downton Abbey como mejor miniserie y Modern Family como mejor comedia. Sobre Downton Abbey me parece una gran serie, pero me parece injusto la categoría en la que está, porque no es una miniserie, simplemente una serie de 6 capítulos británica que ya ha acabado la segunda temporada y el año que viene tendrá una tercera... ¿qué van a hacer premiarla también el año que viene?

 

El año pasado no tuve la suerte de poder ver esta gala así que no sé exactamente como fue, pero tengo que decir que este año Ricky Gervais ha estado muy flojo, no sé si porque el año pasado atacó demasiado, pero en esta ocasión ha ido de transgresor y en la mayoría de los casos los actores a los que presentaba le han contestado con mucho más ingenio. Los momentos divertidos de la noche han sido para una emocionada Sofia Vergara (Modern Family), un Antonio Banderas recitando español; Felicity Huffman y William H. Macy presentando una categoría cantando; George Clooney metiéndose amigablemente con Brad Pitt cuando presentaba Moneyball y haciendo mención del miembro de Fassbender cuando aceptaba su premio; Mención especial para Uggie, el perrito de The Artist, del que me declaro desde ya fan incondicional; que ha mostrado sus habilidades encima del escenario con Jean Dujardin.

Los momentos emotivos han sido para el homenaje por el premio Cecil B. DeMille; una emocionada Octavia Spencer y para el ¿productor? de The Artist quien ha mencionado a su difunto padre.
